The House of Representatives (DPR) Commission VII, which oversees energy and environmental issues, criticized Jakarta environmental management during the latter work visit to the Jakarta City Hall, yesterday.
The Deputy Chairman of Commission VII, Effendi Simbolon, said that the underground water and pollution problem could not be resolved by the Jakarta government. Because of that, water supply in Jakarta has been very problematic.
