Inclusive Mobility Program Assistant

ITDP Indonesia is seeking a full-time Inclusive Mobility Program Assistant based in Jakarta. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a mission-driven Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) advancing sustainable and low-carbon transport in Indonesia, with the Inclusive Mobility Program Assistant playing a key role in supporting implementation, coordination, and operational support across inclusive mobility and gender-related projects.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Inclusive Mobility Program Assistant will support ITDP in supporting implementation, coordination, and operational support across inclusive mobility and gender-related projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support technical analysis, field surveys, research, and project implementation related to inclusive mobility, gender, and disability inclusion in urban development and transport context;
- Support development of reports and project deliverables;
- Assist the implementation of focus group discussions/FGDs, surveys, consultations, workshops, trainings, outreach programs, and stakeholder meetings;
- Support data collection, transcription, desk research, note-taking, and database management;
- Assist preparation of presentations, communication materials, participant tracking, and reporting documentation;
- Support relationship management with community organizations, women groups, disability groups, and other vulnerable-group representatives;
- Provide operational support for fieldwork, events, and project implementation;
- Assist in the process of capturing inputs throughout the communication and interaction made with the vulnerable groups to identify the concerns and gaps to build inclusive mobility and urban design.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Women are encouraged to apply;
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Social Sciences, Public Policy, Development Studies, or related fields;
- 1-2 years of relevant experience (or strong internship/project experience);
- Good organizational and coordination skills;
- Comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders and community groups;
- Strong communication skills and detail orientation;
- Interest in gender, inclusion, transport, social development, or community engagement;
- Experience working with vulnerable groups, Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), or participatory processes is highly desirable.
