The Jakarta Provincial Government`s effort to maintain and repair damaged road is not run as well as expected. The city administration has allocated Rp 441 billion, but it only be approved Rp 221 billion. The road maintenance in first semester of 2011 was Rp 88.5 billion; Rp 75.5 billion for routine and artery road maintenance, and Rp 13 billion for road and bridge infrastructure maintenance.

"We can not repair damaged road with limited budget. It is always happening every year," said Jakarta Head of Public Works Agency Ery Basworo, Monday (5/2).
