The Jakarta Environmental Agency (BPLHD) has begun designing a regional action plan on cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
The agency said the action plan would serve as a policy guide for every agency in the city.
BPLHD head Peni Susanti said the action plan was a derivative of the National Action Plan on Cutting Emissions of Greenhouse Gases.
“The target was to lower greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent by 2030,” Peni said.
