The plan of TransJakarta bus construction for corridor XI (Kampungmelayu-Pulogebang) will cut down at least 1,052 trees along Jl Raya Bekasi, Jl I Gusti Ngurah Rai and Jl Sentra Primer. Besides, the ornamental plants along 1,830 meter square will be also cut. Those trees will be replaced in other places, and the felling of tress will be conducted this month.

The East Jakarta Head of Section Green Lane for City Park Agenc, Abu Bakar, said this effort must be done for Transjakarta bus project. "We`ll relocate the trees at another location," he told beritajakarta.com, Friday (5/6).
