Bus rapid transit operator Transjakarta will provide special routes for Jakartans spending the Idul Fitri holidays in the city.
Transjakarta management chief Muhammad Akbar said on Friday that the city would provide eight additional routes serving a number of tourist sites in the city, including Ancol Dreamland Park in North Jakarta, Ragunan Zoo in South Jakarta and the National Monument in Central Jakarta.

“Many citizens are not leaving the city during the holiday and will likely spend their time at the city’s tourist sites,” Akbar said.
Akbar outlined the eight routes as: Blok M — Ancol, available from Aug. 29 to Aug. 31 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and from Sep. 1 to Sep. 4 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., stopping at Pecenongan, Juanda, Pasar Baru, Jembatan Merah, Mangga Dua, and Pademangan.
