Jakarta Provincial Government guarantees the availability of pedestrian or sidewalk for passerby and public space in the area. It is stated in the arrangement concept of Spatial Plan Bylaw Draft (Raperda RDTR) which is derivative regulation from 2011-2030 Spatial Planning (RTRW) Bylaw which has been ratified several times ago.

Head of Jakarta Spatial Planning Department, Wiriyatmoko said that Jakarta government is being discussed its proposal about some road locations to be freed from vehicle which passing through and parking on roadside. The concept is assessed probably can be realized in each city in Jakarta and will be listed in the concept of Spatial Plan Bylaw Draft.
