Most of condition of Inter City Inter Province bus (AKAP) which belongs to Lorena is getting frail. Therefore, PT Eka Sari Lorena Transport plans to eliminate 60 AKAP buses with 9-10 years of age. As the replacement, Lorena will import 500 units of Mercedes Benz buses which will be fulfilled in 5 years.

G.T Soerbakti as President Director and CEO of PT Eka Lorena Transport stated that his personnel will strengthen the bus fleet by importing 500 new big buses. These new buses provision are cooperating with dealer of Mercedes Benz Indonesia, PT Dipo Mandiri Motor. To ensure this new branded bus, memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed, Wednesday (11/9).

“We have signed MoU for 500 new big buses to decorate old AKAP bus. Thereby, the service to the Lorena bus users, especially Jakarta residents can be improved, as well as security and comfortable also,” he stated.
