Jakarta Public Works Department has built alternative road along this year in order to reduce congestion on protocol or artery roads in city. It is expected to be able to reduce congestion during Kampungmelayu-Tanahabang and Antasari-Blok M Non toll Flyover (JLNT) project.

Head of Jakarta Public Works Department, Ery basworo said many roads in five areas of Jakarta are not connected yet to each other. Thus, those roads are not able to be passed by motorcycle as alternative road to prevent congestion on protocol and artery roads.

“Therefore, Public Works Department has a plan to connect roads into one road which can pass to the highway. Thus, motorcycles are able to pass there,” he expressed, Tuesday (12/6).
