Janji Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) DKI Jakarta memaksimalkan transportasi massal untuk mengurangi kemacetan ternyata hanya isapan jempol. Hingga sekarang kelanjutan dari proyek tersebut tak kunjung jelas.

Pemprov bahkan sepertinya tidak tertarik lagi untuk melanjutkan proyek tersebut. Wakil Ketua DPRD DKI Jakarta Triwisaksana mengatakan, langkah Pemprov DKI seolah kalah langkah dengan PT Kereta Api (KA) yang berusaha meningkatkan pelayanan kereta rel listrik (KRL).Pihaknya menyayangkan ketidakjelasan kelanjutan proyek monorel. Kenyataan ini tidak sesuai komitmen Pemprov DKI yang akan menjadikan transportasi berbasis rel sebagai primadona warga Ibu kota.
