2024 Year-End Reflection
As 2024 draws to a close, ITDP Indonesia expresses heartfelt gratitude to all those who have supported and participated in our efforts to promote sustainable and equitable urban transportation. As a token of appreciation, let’s take a moment to reflect on this year’s achievements through 10 key highlights showcasing our initiatives and collaborations.
Submission of the Greater Jakarta Public Transport Integration Study
ITDP Indonesia, supported by UK PACT, released the “Public Transportation Integration in Metropolitan Jakarta” study, which focused on institutional, infrastructure, and fare solutions for achieving an integrated public transportation system. From March 19 to April 5, the study findings were showcased at installations located at two Jabodetabek integration stations: Cawang-Cikoko and Lebak Bulus. Public transport users passing through these stations could download the study document and provide their feedback.
The study’s findings were also handed over to the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, the Greater Jakarta Transport Authority, and Transjakarta during the “Urban Transport Discussion #31: Can Institutional Integration Solve Chaotic Mobility in Metropolitan Jakarta?” (March 20).
Jakarta Low Emission Zone (LEZ) Roadmap
The small-scale implementation of a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) in Jakarta’s Old Town has yet to significantly reduce citywide air pollution. In response, ITDP Indonesia, through the UK PACT program, developed a roadmap outlining LEZ delineation and phased implementation strategies to reduce transport-related emissions in Jakarta.
