After the successful greenways program in Guangzhou by creating network of greenways with the length of 2100 km by 2012, ITDP now on its attempt to link the residential areas and commercials (offices, malls) as improvement effort for better connectivity and accessibility to transit points in Jakarta.

The concepts TOD (Transit-oriented Development) is considered suitable for vibrant city due to better and easier public accessibility through creating mixed use area that combines the functions of residential, commercial and to connect them with transit points.
Greenways is a breakthrough in creating safe corridors for walking and cycling with more than recreation expectation, but also for transporting. The purpose of Greenways is to improve public space infrastructure which will enrich urban life.
