Muhammad Budi Utomo

Project Lead, Advancing Electric Mobility in Indonesia

Budi holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), respectively. In his previous role as an Urban Transportation Policy Planner at the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas), he contributed to various policy developments and projects aimed at improving urban mobility in Indonesia. Notably, he was involved in drafting the National Long-Term and Medium-Term Development Plans (RPJPN 2025–2045 and RPJMN 2025–2029) for the transportation sector. 

In his spare time, Budi enjoys watching his favourite football club (the ed side of Manchester), watching movies, playing sport games, and spending time with his loved ones.
