Ulfi Puarada
Inclusive Urban Mobility Associate
Ulfi is a sustainable transport practitioner focusing on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and inclusive mobility through placemaking and participatory approaches. She holds a Master of Advanced Engineering from Monash University and has worked on gender mainstreaming in transport, school road safety across Indonesia, and community-led walkability initiatives such as Jane’s Walk across Asia since then.
At ITDP, she works to embed GEDSI perspectives across transport projects, collaborating with governments, civil society, and communities to create safer, more equitable streets and cities.
She is part of the Youth Leadership Board of YOURS – Global Youth Coalition for Road Safety and co-coordinator of Women on the Move Asia. Outside work, Ulfi often spends her weekends organising walking tours with her friends through Walkable Bintaro, with a goal of encouraging people to explore their neighbourhoods and surroundings on foot.
